Legal Entity SageBay & Co is a trading name of Michelle Narinsakchai, who operates as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. All transactions (online, via Click & Collect, or in-store) are processed under this legal entity.

General Overview At SageBay & Co, we want you to love every item you purchase. Our refund and exchange policy is designed to be fair while complying with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

1. In-Store Purchases (Bexhill Boutique)

For items purchased and paid for at our physical shop (including Reserve & Pay in Store items), we offer an exchange or a credit note within 28 days of purchase.

  • Change of Mind: We do not offer cash or card refunds for in-store purchases if you change your mind.
  • Credit Notes: These are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and are redeemable in-store only.

2. Online Purchases (Home Delivery)

In accordance with UK Distance Selling laws, if you purchase online for home delivery, you have the right to a full refund:

  • Notification: You must notify us at contact@sagebay.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order that you wish to return it.
  • Return Window: You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.

3. Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for an exchange, credit note, or refund, your item must be:

  • Returned within the timeframes stated above.
  • Unused, unworn, and in resalable condition.
  • Returned with original tags attached and in original packaging.
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or online order confirmation.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

Due to hygiene and processing reasons, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Earrings (unless faulty).
  • Gift Cards or Vouchers.
  • Items without original tags or items that show signs of wear/perfume/makeup.
  • Sale or Clearance Items: These are eligible for exchange/credit note only (unless purchased online, where statutory rights apply).

5. Return Process

  • In-Store: Visit us at 4 St Leonards Road, Bexhill, with your item and receipt.
  • By Post: 1. Download and complete our Returns Form. 2. Repackage the item securely with your order confirmation. 3. Post to: Returns – SageBay & Co, 4 St Leonards Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN40 1HN.

6. Return Costs

Customers are responsible for return postage costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

7. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement within 30 days of purchase under the Consumer Rights Act. Please contact us or visit the shop immediately so we can inspect the item.
